NEX+ACT : WIT Celebrates 16th Anniversary with the Next Generation of Creative Talent

Cimahi, October 22, 2026 — WIT Indonesia celebrated its 16th anniversary through NEX+ACT, an event held at Cimahi Techno Park that brought together technology, creativity, and conversations about the future. Under the theme The Next Quest, the event welcomed Grade 12 students from SMKN 2 Cimahi, majoring in Animation and Visual Communication Design (DKV), creating an opportunity to connect the world of technology with the next generation of creative talent.

More than an anniversary celebration, NEX+ACT was a moment to reflect on WIT’s journey while exploring new possibilities in an increasingly digital world. For students preparing to take their next steps after graduation, the event offered an opportunity to discover how technology continues to shape industries, creative processes, and the way people work.

The program featured several sessions, including opening remarks by Irfan Arsandi, an opening keynote by Kadafi Devayana, and a midday energizer with Raden Raka. The agenda also included an ecosystem panel discussion featuring WIT leaders, bringing different perspectives into the conversation about what comes next.

For students in Animation and DKV, the relationship between creativity and technology is becoming increasingly relevant. Digital tools continue to transform how visual ideas are developed, how content is produced, and how creative work reaches its audience. Understanding these changes can help students prepare for an industry where creative skills and technological knowledge increasingly complement one another.
