Freedom to Build: AI Innovation Sprint 2026 – Demo Day

Bandung, August 18, 2026 — In the spirit of Indonesia’s Independence Day celebration, WIT Indonesia held Freedom to Build: AI Innovation Sprint 2026 – Demo Day, an internal event that brought teams together to showcase their ideas, innovations, and AI-powered solutions.

Held at the WIT Bandung Office, the event offered a different way to celebrate the spirit of August 17. Beyond commemorating freedom, WIT invited every team to turn that spirit into the courage to build, create, experiment, and develop new solutions through technology.

The event began at 8:30 AM with an Opening & Briefing session. It was followed by the main program, AI Innovation Sprint 2026 – Group Presentations, which took place over two hours. During this session, eight teams presented the ideas and innovations they had developed throughout the sprint: SUNNIE, LUWIE, SHADOWIE, TITANIE, VERDANIE, KOPPIE, BADDIE, and PINKKIE.

Each team was given 15 minutes to present their work. The Demo Day provided an opportunity for participants to share their concepts, development processes, and solutions while learning from different perspectives and approaches across teams.

The celebration was not only about presentations. The program also included a Fun Games session, creating a more interactive and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. It became a moment for participants to strengthen connections, recharge their energy, and celebrate together outside their daily work routines.

The event then continued with the Awarding & Winner Announcement, where selected teams received recognition for their innovative ideas and contributions during the AI Innovation Sprint 2026. The awards served as an appreciation for the creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and dedication demonstrated by each team.

After the announcement, the event concluded with a Closing session, followed by a Special Chef Lunch where all participants could gather and enjoy a moment of togetherness.

Carrying the theme “Freedom to Build,” AI Innovation Sprint 2026 served as a reminder that innovation does not always begin with a perfect idea. It begins with the courage to try, build, explore, and continuously discover new ways to solve challenges.

Through the spirit of independence, WIT Indonesia celebrated the freedom to think beyond boundaries, create new possibilities, and build the future together through technology and collaboration.
