RE:WIT, TECH, SEMINAR, | 2025
WIT. Indonesia were proud to be an integral part of The Digital Innovation Summit 2025, successfully held on October 14 at Soehanna Hall, SCBD. The event, hosted by the Polish Investment & Trade Agency (PAIH) and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta, served as a crucial platform to discuss the future of education and digital innovation.
Our main focus during the Summit was how to equip Indonesia’s young talent to face an ever-changing world of work, one that is largely still unknown.
Our representative, Fahmi Syaban, appeared as a key speaker and panelist in the critical session: “Future of Workforce: How to Prepare Students for Unknown.”
During the discussion, Fahmi Syaban stressed that future challenges cannot be solved merely by mastering specific technical skills. Industry and academia must collaborate to instill a much stronger foundation.
We believe the core competencies for the future workforce must be critical thinking, complex problem-solving, creativity, and, most importantly, the ability to rapidly learn new things (learnability). These are the skills we must cultivate together.
We view strong synergy between the technology industry, such as WIT. Indonesia, and educational institutions as the best path forward. Through this collaboration, we can ensure that digital innovation has a tangible impact, guaranteeing that Indonesian students are not only ready for today’s jobs but also possess the robust and flexible foundation needed to meet the demands of the future.
Our active involvement in this international forum demonstrates WIT. Indonesia’s commitment to continuously play a key role in advancing national digital talent.
